Analyze existing services and legacy code, including dependencies spread across multiple repositories.
Design, implement and maintain clean, testable and reliable Java- and PHP-based services, microservices and APIs, with Java representing the primary technology stack.
Develop and modernize system integrations and asynchronous data flows using REST/OpenAPI, Kafka, messaging and related technologies.
Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain concise technical documentation.
Troubleshoot defects using logs, traces and production-like environments; identify root causes and implement durable fixes.
Collaborate with lead developers, architects, DevOps, integration experts and vendor teams throughout delivery.
