Description
As a Senior Data Modeler, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-quality data models that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and operational systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust data structures and ensure alignment with data governance and architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models across multiple domains and platforms (e.g., cloud, hybrid).
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data models meet performance, quality, and usability standards.
- Apply best practices in data modeling methodologies such as Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault.
- Define and enforce naming conventions, metadata standards, and data lineage documentation.
- Conduct data profiling and quality assessments to validate model integrity.
- Mentor junior data modelers and analysts, and lead modeling workshops.
- Support data governance initiatives by ensuring models align with compliance and security requirements.

Expectations
Required Skills & Experience
- 5𠄸 years of experience in data modeling, with a strong understanding of relational and dimensional modeling.
- Proficiency in tools such as ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, dbt, SQL Developer, or similar.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with data warehousing, MDM, and metadata management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
