The Medior Backend Software Engineer is part of our digital engineering team who is responsible for the advancement of digital businesses and their supporting technologies and contribution towards key business decisions on both a functional and technical level.
As a Medior Backend Software Engineer, you will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of MuleSoft integrations and APIs that connect various systems and applications. Candidates with Java experience who are willing to learn MuleSoft will be considered, we are ready to support the training, making this an excellent opportunity for Java developers looking to expand their skills into the integration space. You will work closely with senior engineers to deliver robust integration solutions, contributing to API development and system integrations across multiple platforms.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· MuleSoft Integration & API Development:
o Design, implement, and test RESTful and SOAP APIs to integrate systems, applications, and databases using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
o Develop reusable components, frameworks, and services to accelerate integration projects.
o Write clear and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
· API Development & Management:
o Build and maintain APIs using MuleSoft frameworks to facilitate communication between systems.
o Ensure APIs are properly documented, secured, and optimized for performance.
· System Integration & Troubleshooting:
o Assist in integrating third-party systems and cloud services with MuleSoft technologies.
o Troubleshoot and debug integration issues to ensure seamless connectivity between systems.
o Support the maintenance and enhancement of the integration solutions.
· Collaboration & Communication:
o Work closely with senior developers, architects, and project managers to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions.
o Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to ensure APIs meet business requirements and are integrated effectively.
o Provide updates on progress and challenges during regular project meetings.
· Learning & Development:
o For candidates with a Java development background, receive comprehensive training and mentorship to gain expertise in MuleSoft integration solutions.
o Apply your Java skills to real-world integration challenges while staying up to date on the latest MuleSoft technologies, tools, and best practices to ensure continued relevance and growth.
o Engage in continuous learning around integration patterns, data transformation, and API management.
