Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL on-premises, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across our platforms

Tasks
- Administration of SQL and NoSQL database platforms (including MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and REDIS) ensures high availability and performance, which is essential for reliable business operations.
- Working closely with other teams (application and infra), you solve ongoing issues.
- Incident, change, and problem management.
- Transforming the team from reactive to proactive behavior.
- Supporting the DBA service insource transition activity.
- You will manage backup and recovery processes and plan for disaster recovery to protect company data.
- Planning and executing database migration projects is also part of your responsibilities.
Expectations
- Strong expertise in MySQL, MS SQL Server, and/or Oracle, including clustering and Always On.
- Hands-on experience with database operation, including schema design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Solid understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and performance tuning strategies.
Advantages
- Familiar with CI/CD practices and integrating database changes into automated pipelines
- Knowledgeable about additional database technologies (such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL)
- Exposed to cloud-native architectures, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code
- Experienced in using Dynatrace for database monitoring
