We are looking for a Software Engineer who will be responsible for designing and constructing web pages/sites, including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques, will assist in administering and managing the department’s Intranet sites, will assist with project outlines and specifications, will troubleshoot, debug, implement and document software code. The candidate will work independently or as a member of a team, handling the development and growth of internal applications.
- Develop and maintain custom Web applications and interfaces using VB.NET required, C# a plus and ASP.NET to support the efforts of the Strategic Pricing Group
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures associated with the UI programming stated above
- Maintain and expand current applications and upgrades to the new version of software
- Design, debug and support web applications
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Prepare documentations and specifications
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Expectations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related work experience
- 4-8 years of experience with VB.NET required, C# a plus, ASP.NET, and Visual Studio
- Experience with SQL Server database structure used in supporting web applications
- Experience with AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS, and scripting languages like JavaScript, jQuery is preferred
- Experience in consuming/developing SOAP/REST web services preferred
- Experience with ADO.NET preferred
- Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
- Experience in analysis, development, implementation and support of business information systems
- Must be able to work within the structure of a systems development life cycle
- Direct client interaction sometimes required; good communication skills, both written and oral
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and be able to meet deadlines
- Highly motivated, independent worker with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and execute on detailed design documents and work plans from high-level requirements and specifications
- Must have exceptional work ethic, and positive attitude
