Description

The role will serve as a CART reviewer (Cloud Architecture Review Team), responsible for coordinating systematic reviews of applications that are delivered by 3rd party hosting providers.

We are looking for a person with knowledge of SaaS and 3rd Party hosting provider controls and regulations, risk methodologies.

You will lead the collaboration with the business partners, technology, security, continuity of business and risk functions in the coordination of reviews to ensure compliance with Citi policies, standards, and procedures. The role requires a talented technologist with outstanding communication skills and experience in engaging stakeholders across various teams and disciplines.

·        Contribute to enhance Citi’s competitive edge by playing a role in Third Party Risk Management application and supplier reviews by:

·        Assessing soundness of application controls.

·        Ensuring that appropriate governance and oversight rules are implemented and adhered to.

·        Oversee an organization's cloud workload from security assessment standpoint

·        Supporting Architecture Review Board members by preparing and reviewing materials.

·        Drive quality in governance reporting to senior leadership.

·        Track and trace all necessary materials for the reviews.

·        Be a partner for Internal Teams looking to introduce new capabilities within their business

·        Assist with regulatory requests.

·        Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including Senior Management, on a timely basis.

·        Collaborate with senior Citi management across business and functional lines as each introduce new capabilities, to keep SaaS activity within our risk tolerance.

Tasks

We’re seeking a Cloud Architecture Reviewer to join a dynamic international team supporting our partner, a global financial institution. This role demands strong project management and risk management skills, focusing on integrating cybersecurity applications and tracking cybersecurity projects while ensuring effective communication across teams. Responsibilities include managing project statuses and escalations, supporting team communication, and ensuring project progress. A flexible work schedule is essential, as collaboration with teams in different time zones is required.

  • Collaborate closely with business, technology, security, and risk teams to review and assess third-party hosted applications
  • Ensure full compliance with policies, standards, and regulations
  • Evaluate the robustness of application controls and cloud security
  • Support Architecture Review Board members with materials and insights
  • Help shape strategic risk decisions by preparing governance reports for senior leadership
  • Track and coordinate all relevant documentation for each review
  • Be a trusted advisor to internal teams launching new capabilities
  • Assist with regulatory and audit requests
  • Communicate status, issues, and risks clearly and effectively to stakeholders
  • Ensure new SaaS activities remain within risk tolerance

Expectations

  • Project management experience in a multinational environment, focusing on cybersecurity projects.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.  
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with global teams.
  • Flexibility to manage different time zones and accommodate flexible working hours.
  • Fluent English language skills

Advantages

  • Cloud skills and knowledge of cloud governance frameworks are a plus.
  • Experience in cloud risk & compliance or related areas is a plus.
  • Knowledge of third-party supplier controls and cloud application risk assessment is preferred.
